The glorious history of the Maharanas of the Sisodia dynasty is given. A detailed description has been given of the administrative reforms and public welfare social reforms carried out by the Maharanas from time to time. After the arrival of the British in India, the people of Mewar had to face adverse conditions, due to which there were many farmers’ movements, Prajamandal movement was started for the establishment of responsible government.
The important thing is that in this book the history of the development of these institutions has been written for the first time in a phased manner. It has been my endeavor that through this book the readers can get informative and original reading material.1427
